Abel Consulting Services, Inc. (ACS) performed survey, design, coordination, etc. to achieve the largest subdivision in Pueblo, Colorado to date. This subdivision is located directly adjacent to Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado. ACS provided survey services including topographic survey, boundary survey, platting, and construction staking as well as coordination with the City of Pueblo through the review and approval process. Engineering services provided include design of: streets, round-a-bout, road-side parking, medians, drainage and grading, regional detention, water quality, utility infrastructure and pipelines, storm sewer design, pedestrian path, handicap access, as well as signage and striping. ACS provided coordination between the client, adjacent property owners, utilities, the City of Pueblo, and contractors in order to achieve aggressive timeline goals and ever-changing design goals. ACS provided construction drawing including Plan and Profile drawings for each street and intersection, round-a-bout plan, phasing plans, detention pond plans and details for three detention ponds and one large regional detention pond, pedestrian path design, handicap ramp details, raised crosswalk details, signage and striping plans and miscellaneous construction details. In addition, ACS provided a detailed drainage report, phasing documents, cost estimates, easement documentation, etc. required to complete the subdivision. ![]() |
